Willow Point is accessible by land as well as by water via private ferry at Laney's Landing. The ferry crosses Lake Chotard, an oxbow lake.

The land access is an option when the river stage is 32' or below at the Vicksburg gauge. The land access approaches Willow Point from the northwest corner of the property and is mainly used during the summer months for bringing in large equipment and fuel.

In addition to the access by land or water, the property contains an open area immediately adjacent to the lodge compound which is suitable to the development of an aircraft landing strip, if desired by the buyer, with an approximate distance of approximately 4,000 feet.
